WHAT IS CATECHESIS?
Catechesis is an ancient Christian term that means to echo, repeat or pass on to another. The Apostles passed on what they received from Jesus to others who became Christian. Catechesis is not just teaching facts or information. It is sharing knowledge by witnessing and living out our faith - by how we live, how we forgive, how we hope and how we love. Most of us are formed by the experience in the home. Our parish seeks to add to what is taught and lived in parishioners' homes through classes and programs for children, adults and families.
